Mincemeat Bread recipe
Ingredients:
¾ cup of sugar.
½ cup of softened margarine.
2 medium eggs.
2 ½ cups of flour.
1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of baking soda.
½ teaspoon of salt.
½ cup of milk.
1 1/3 cups of prepared mincemeat.
½ cup of chopped nuts.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Grease the bottom only of 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, beat the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, until smooth.
Beat in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt alternately with milk until blended.
Stir in the mincemeat and chopped nuts.
Spread in the pan.
Bake for about 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Allow to cool.
Remove from the pan and allow to cool completely before slicing.
